Feeling stressed, overwhelmed and out of control? Are your nerves creating a sense of fear and panic? Do you have outbreaks of sweating, trembling, racing heartbeat, and/or rapid breathing?
Rachel uses a mixed modality approach with clients when assessing anxiety by incorporating theoretical frameworks and alternative/integrative practices in anxiety reduction. Practical exercises and mindfulness-based coping tools are offered so clients can best navigate irrational thoughts to combat feelings of anxiety. Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy are used as well as formalized assessments in treating anxiety.
